Job Description: Information & Digital Technology (IDT) Internship – Summer 2025:
HNI is seeking Information & Digital Technology (IDT) Interns for their Muscatine, Iowa location during Summer 2025. This is a paid internship program offering hands-on experience and opportunities for professional development.
What Interns Will Do:
Interns will work on one or more projects that create value for HNI’s business partners. The program includes:
• Exposure to leadership
• Professional development opportunities (Lunch and Learns, training, skill building workshops)

• Company-paid apartment-style housing (based on student’s geographic need and housing capacity)

Qualifications:
• Pursuing a BA or MBA with a major in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Junior-level coursework preferred.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA
• Preference given to candidates with relevant work experience, internships, or involvement in related activities.
Required Skills:
• Strong technical acumen and desire for a career in IDT
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to develop alternative solutions and work well in individual and group problem-solving situations
• Self-starter with high personal motivation and desire to take initiative and ownership
