Starbucks Summer Internship Program:
This is a paid, full-time, 12-week program (June – early September 2025) designed to provide students with valuable work experience in the field of Industrial Engineering within the Starbucks team.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the benefits of implementing engineering technology and methods changes to operations.
• Apply problem-solving logic and analyze alternatives to assess the financial and operational impact of business initiatives.
• Develop and implement processes to measure, analyze, and improve equipment, station, engine, and overall store performance.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis of bottlenecks in retail store production.
• Contribute to program development, store layout optimization, store engine redesign, schematics reviews, design studio/field ops support, ops lab testing, data collection and analysis, design of experiments, and human-centered design.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles, theory of constraints, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset and passion for process optimization.
• Interest in rapid concept ideation and testing, simulation modeling, and process standardization.
Internship Program Qualifications:
• Active enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work full time from June – early September 2025.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
