Job Description:
This position is for an Industrial Engineer Early Career Associate to support one of Lockheed Martin’s vehicle, missile, or rocket programs. You will work closely with the Product Manager, Program Support Team, and the Industrial Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively apply traditional Industrial Engineering techniques and disciplines, including:
• Man-loading
• Workflow analysis
• Learning curve analysis
• Estimating
• Capacity analysis
• Capital equipment justification
• Make vs. buy studies
• Standards development
• Equivalent units completed calculations
Location:
This position is based at Lockheed Martin’s Camden Operations facility in Camden, Arkansas. This facility occupies over 2000 acres and 2 million square feet of manufacturing space, where rockets, missiles, canisters, and ground vehicles are built. The facility also houses a state-of-the-art machining center and employs over 1000 people.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an engineering or STEM related field.
• An Industrial Engineering degree is preferred, but candidates from other engineering and STEM disciplines will be considered.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with time studies, man loading, capacity analysis, project management, process improvements, benchmarking, and simulation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Work Schedule:
This position offers a 4×10-hour day work schedule, with 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin also supports a variety of alternate work schedules to provide flexibility to its employees.
Remote Work:
This position offers part-time remote telework, allowing you to work a portion of your schedule remotely and a portion at the designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
