Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking an Industrial Engineer Early Career Associate to support one of their vehicle, missile, or rocket programs. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM-related field, and experience with time studies, man loading, capacity analysis, project management, process improvements, benchmarking, and simulation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment, are also required.
The Industrial Engineer Early Career Associate will be responsible for effectively applying traditional Industrial Engineering techniques and disciplines, including:
• Man-loading
• Workflow
• Learning curves
• Estimating
• Capacity analysis
• Capital equipment justification
• Make vs. buy studies
• Standards
• Performing equivalent units completed calculations
The position is part-time remote telework, with the specific weekly schedule to be discussed during the hiring process. Lockheed Martin also supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to their employees.
