About the Job
Get hands-on experience and jump-start your career in industrial automation and control systems. Over 10 weeks, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and field specialists, gaining exposure to the hardware, software, and technologies that keep chemical and manufacturing facilities running safely and efficiently. This program blends technical training with real‑world applications, giving you the chance to design, configure, and optimize systems that make a real impact.
Key Experiences & Projects
Interns will take part in a variety of meaningful projects, offering diverse experiences:
- In our panel shop, you’ll learn how to assemble and wire industrial control panels.
- See your work come to life during customer Factory Acceptance Tests, where you’ll also help host and interact with clients.
- Support DeltaV system maintenance and modernization efforts at customer facilities across the Houston area.
- Witness how control systems operate full‑scale plants.
- Build relationships with industry professionals.
- Troubleshoot real electrical and networking challenges.
- Gain hands‑on familiarity with control room hardware, server rooms, and field I/O cabinets throughout the summer.

Time Commitment
- Duration: 10-weeks, from June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
- Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday, Days
- Compensation: Paid internship + paid company holidays
Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program to participate.
- Majors: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Cyber Engineering
