About the Role: Independent Sales Representative
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing businesses, positioning Colonial Life as the preferred provider for voluntary benefits. This role involves securing commitments to launch new accounts, allowing you to make a significant impact by helping employees gain access to vital financial protection.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prospecting for new accounts to expand our client base.
- Presenting to decision-makers and effectively securing new business commitments.
- Conducting group meetings before enrollment sessions to educate employees on available benefits.
- Providing comprehensive enrollment solutions tailored to client and employee needs.
- Account management to foster long-term client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Building relationships and partnering with other independent benefit counselors to complete enrollments seamlessly.
What We’re Looking For (Required Skills):
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently, managing your own schedule and goals effectively.
- Proven sales experience with a track record of success.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills to engage decision-makers and close deals.
Compensation & Independent Contractor Opportunity
As an Independent Sales Representative, you have the potential to earn commissions based on your sales results, renewal income from established accounts, and performance-based bonuses. Any income range associated with this posting represents the potential pre-tax earnings of a business owner in this role, not a guaranteed salary or guaranteed earnings.
