Imports and Commodities Intern – Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site internship located in Wyoming, MI.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to strategic projects: Assist with initiatives that align with Gordon Food Service’s overall business goals.
Gain valuable knowledge: Develop an understanding of the food service industry, company operations, workplace etiquette, and business communication.
Enhance your resume: Work one-on-one with a Talent Acquisition Specialist to improve your resume and professional skills.
Collaborate and present: Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and present impactful business solutions to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Academic standing: Must be an incoming Junior or Senior as of May 2025 (minimum of 56 credit hours) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
