• Mission: This role supports attorneys by managing critical legal processes and documentation, directly contributing to clients’ ability to achieve better futures through successful navigation of immigration law challenges.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Draft and prepare a range of legal documents, including detailed briefs, essential motions, and various filings, ensuring they are ready for submission to the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and federal court jurisdictions.
• Case Management: Take responsibility for managing complex immigration cases, meticulously tracking progress and strictly adhering to all critical deadlines to ensure accurate and timely completion of case requirements.
• Client Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, coordinating efforts to efficiently gather necessary documentation, provide regular updates on case status, and schedule all required appointments and meetings.
• Procedural Research: Conduct thorough research into specific procedures and guidelines related to various complex immigration issues, ensuring the team remains informed of current requirements and best practices.
• Agency Communication: Establish and maintain clear, effective communication with various government agencies, including USCIS, EOIR, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and federal courts, regarding case specifics and procedural inquiries.

• Experience: No specific years of professional experience are strictly required for this role, as the position offers direct mentorship opportunities for development.
• Skills: Possess exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through capabilities, and effective problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal processes; Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise interactions with clients, colleagues, and agencies; Demonstrate a robust ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding, high-energy legal environment; Required fluency in Spanish, enabling effective communication with a diverse client base and Spanish-speaking stakeholders.
• Bonus: Prior experience gained within any legal environment is considered a valuable asset and will be highly regarded.
