Intern- Integrated Production Services Design | AMETEK

The Tone:
AMETEK provides industrial technology solutions, and its Forza Silicon business unit leads in mixed-signal IC and CMOS imaging designs. This internship supports a team developing cutting-edge technology by contributing to design projects from concept to test. You will work closely with the Director, Integrated Product Services.

The TL;DR
• Role: Intern- Integrated Production Services Design
• Type: Full Time
• Team: Reports to the Director, Integrated Product Services.
• Mission: Own contributing to all phases of integrated product design projects, from specification to final test.
• Tech Stack: python, Verilog/VHDL, Matlab, C programming

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Contribute to design phases from specification, through design, and custom test design automation.
• Perform: Execute tests and characterization utilizing custom test systems.
• Bring-up: Set up prober equipment and probe wafers within a cleanroom environment.
• Engage: In detailed circuit design, simulation, layout, verification, and design bring-up.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Domain knowledge in integrated circuit design, testing, and characterization processes.
• Experience: Hands-on experience with lab equipment including oscilloscope, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
• Skills: Proficiency in Python, Verilog/VHDL, Matlab, and/or C programming.
