Job Description: IB Intern Analyst NE
This is an intermediate-level position within Citi’s Investment Banking team. The IB Intern Analyst NE will be responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions, and acting as an intermediary in trading for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Support: Assist clients in raising capital and developing investment strategies.
• Mergers & Acquisitions: Provide strategic advisory services for M&A transactions, including market research, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring.
• Financial Modeling: Analyze financial data, develop complex financial models, and perform valuations.
• Business Development: Prepare presentations for new business opportunities and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Documentation: Prepare internal documentation related to compliance regulations and control procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Recent Graduate: Graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and develop sophisticated financial models.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills with a proven ability to work effectively in team environments.
• Passion for Finance: A dedication to learning and a true passion for the financial industry.
• Client Focus: A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and achieving optimal results on every project.
