Job Description: HW-Box Electrical HW Intern

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join their HVBOX group, focusing on state-of-the-art automotive high voltage OnBoard Chargers and DCDC converters.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on power electronics development experience in a challenging and rewarding environment, working closely with a mentor and supporting development process activities on production-intent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identification of key metrics of OBCs and DCDC converters
• Electrical analysis and simulation of power electronic circuits
• Performing failure mode analysis on power converters
• Debugging and troubleshooting of HVBOX prototypes
• Bench testing
• Data analysis and report generation
• Benchmarking of OBCs and DCDC converters
• Support of other xEV power electronics activities
• Additional engineering activities as needed
