Job Description
Position Title: Human Resources Undergraduate Intern
Position Overview:
This internship program offers interns a unique opportunity to learn strategies for leveraging self-awareness to lead themselves, collaborate effectively with others, and demonstrate high performance. Internship opportunities are available across several key HR functions, including:
• Employee Relations
• HR Business Partners
• PNC University (Learning & Development)
• Talent Acquisition (Recruiting)
• Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)
Position Responsibilities:
• Performs or assists with the core activities of the assigned HR group, applying learned knowledge to drive business results (e.g., process support, internal/external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects).
• Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
• Participates in social learning within the organization, which includes identifying and networking with business representatives and peers, participating in mentoring, job shadowing, and community outreach.
Position Requirements:
• Currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Preferred business-relevant majors include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, HR, Communications, Industrial Engineering, or Actuarial Sciences.
• Must be a sophomore or junior status.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role ranges from $18 to $35 per hour.
