About the job

This opening is for a Human Resources Trainee position, offered as an Internship / Mandatory Internship (Pflichtpraktikum). It is specifically aimed at students or vocational school trainees (especially from hotel management schools) who are looking for a required internship and are interested in working within the Human Resources department.

The Position (Responsibilities):

The Human Resources Trainee will be an integral part of the HR team, with tasks including:
• Serving as a point of contact for employees, trainees, temporary staff, and interns.
Supporting the HR department with all administrative tasks.
• Handling internal communication across all departments.
Designing various notices, newsletters, and information letters for employees.
Answering phone calls and processing emails.
Preparing and executing employee Check-In and Check-Out processes, as well as creating personnel files.
Assisting with the planning, preparation, and execution of various employee events.
• Gaining insights into all areas of responsibility within the Human Resources department.

What is Expected (Requirements):

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
• Must be undertaking a mandatory internship as part of a study program or vocational training in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration (BWL), or Human Resources.
Ideally, initial experience in the hotel/gastronomy sector or specialized knowledge in Human Resources.
• A strong passion for the hotel industry.
• A warm and open demeanor when interacting with employees.
High quality standards for one’s own work results.
Flexibility and enjoyment of challenges.
Fluent German and very good English skills.
• Proficiency in common MS-Office programs.
