About The Role: Human Resources Summer Internship Program (Summer 2026)

Woodside’s Human Resources Summer Internship Program is a cornerstone of our USA Early Career Pathways initiative, strategically designed to cultivate a sustainable pipeline of future HR and people-focused talent. This program offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity for hands-on, real-world experience by supporting Woodside’s growing U.S. business.

As an HR Summer Intern, you will engage in project-based work directly aligned with Woodside’s critical people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational priorities. You will gain invaluable exposure to our operational environment, our robust safety culture, and our core values, all while working closely alongside experienced HR professionals.

This internship is more than just a summer job; it’s a launchpad for your career. You will actively develop essential professional, analytical, and leadership capabilities. The program serves as a primary feeder into Woodside’s future graduate and early-career programs, playing a crucial role in our broader workforce and capability planning strategy in the United States.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:

While specific day-to-day tasks will be project-dependent, you will be expected to:

• Contribute to strategic HR initiatives by working on projects related to people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Collaborate with and learn from experienced HR professionals, gaining insight into various facets of human resources within a global energy company.
• Develop and apply analytical skills to real-world HR challenges and data.
• Enhance your professional and leadership capabilities in a dynamic corporate environment.
• Understand and integrate Woodside’s operating environment, safety culture, and values into your work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

To be considered for this enriching internship opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field.
Academic Standing: Must be a rising senior or junior with an expected graduation date between Spring 2027 and 2028.
Enrollment: Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the full duration of the 2026 internship program.
GPA: Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.
Availability: Be available for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive weeks during Summer 2026.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., F-1).
Pre-Employment Screening: Agree to complete pre-employment screening as part of the application process.
Communication: Understand that correspondence regarding your application will primarily be conducted via email.
Integrity: Agree not to utilize AI or AI-assisted tools during any part of the application or interview process.
