About the Company:

Nashville SC is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join their General & Administrative department. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to learn about HR and gain hands-on experience within a professional sports organization. The intern will report to the Director of Human Resources.

Job Description:

As a Human Resources Intern, you will support the HR team in various initiatives and tasks. This role offers valuable exposure to different aspects of HR within a dynamic sports environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with job description review and job postings.
Participate in pre-screening interviews for part-time stadium positions.
Assist with onboarding processes.
Assist with coordinating preemployment activities.
Assist with organizing, preparing, and participating in recruiting events.
Assist in data entry tasks.
Assist in retrieving and maintaining confidential records, files, and documentation.
Perform research and provide assistance for various Human Resources and Benefits-related projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills.
Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.
Eagerness to learn and take initiative.

Requirements:

Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit.
Pursuing a degree in Sports Management with a focus on Business Administration, or Business Management with a focus in Human Resources.
Available 20-25 hours per week.
Available to work in-person.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding that working in sports is different than being a fan. The position does not guarantee candidates will be able to watch games.
This internship is unpaid and is meant for students that will receive school credit and/or look to build upon their resumes.
