Human Resources Intern | JD.COM
The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site, 6-month internship at JD.COM, located in Buford, Georgia. JD.COM is a global technology and supply chain ecosystem that serves over 700 million customers, innovating across retail, logistics, and tech. This internship is designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects and responsibilities, offering vital support to the full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment.

• Mission: Support full-cycle human resources operations across multiple logistics sites to ensure accurate HR processes and employee support.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
What You’ll Actually Do
• HR Site Support: Act as the primary HR support for 2–3 warehouses in one of our California sites, shadowing the HR lead as a mentor.
• Process Management: Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment administration, onboarding, and documentation for performance management and offboarding.
• Attendance Tracking: Review and reconcile employee timecards to ensure accurate attendance tracking and related compliance matters.
• Employee Relations: Support the handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership.
• Policy Guidance: Provide initial HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and basic compliance with federal and state regulations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years required; comfort using Microsoft Office programs and an ability to learn new HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills; detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task completion.
• Bonus: Chinese Mandarin speaking is a plus; JD.COM is open to OPT candidates.
