Job Summary/Overview:
This unpaid internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources, focusing on talent acquisition, recruiting processes, and HR administration. The intern will assist in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for open positions, contributing to employer branding initiatives, and supporting the overall HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with job postings and creating engaging job descriptions.
• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, company website).
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, scheduling and managing the process.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
• Assist in onboarding tasks, including preparation of documentation and support for new hire orientation.
• Participate in HR projects related to talent acquisition and employee engagement, contributing ideas and support.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed, handling various tasks efficiently.
• Assist with the maintenance of employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Help organize employee engagement activities and training programs, contributing to a positive work environment.
• Assist with the development of HR newsletters, announcements, and other internal communications, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Design and produce informative materials, such as guides, presentations, and infographics, to communicate HR programs and resources to employees.
• Conduct research on various HR topics and prepare reports as needed, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Complete ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the HR team.
