Job Description: Human Resources Intern (Part-Time)
This part-time internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources. Interns will collaborate with the HR Generalist, HR Manager, and HR Director teams. The role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the HR field, allowing interns to make a tangible impact on the company’s operations.
Responsibilities include:
• Talent Acquisition Support: Assisting with the full recruiting life cycle, including creating job ads, posting positions, screening applications, conducting phone interviews, talent sourcing, and supporting onboarding processes.
• Employee Engagement: Developing and coordinating employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives.
• HR Documentation: Helping create and refine HR documents such as handbooks, job descriptions, and policies; providing feedback on materials under development.
• Company Involvement: Participating in company meetings and development groups. Contributing to the company’s social media presence through blogs, videos, and posts.
• Compensation & Benefits Analysis: Assisting with compensation and benefits analytics for clients, including wage analysis, benefits overviews, and compensation ratios.
• HR Research: Conducting research on HR topics to create knowledge resources for clients.
• Process Improvement: Supporting the creation of standard operating procedures and related documents for HR processes.
• Administrative Support: Assisting with organizing internal systems and managing employee files.
The internship requires working alongside the HR team, gaining a working knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Interns will contribute to various projects and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the organization.
