Job Description: Human Resources Intern

Dometic Land Vehicles Americas seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support its HR team in Elkhart, IN. This internship reports to the Director, HR Shared Services.

Responsibilities:

HRIS Support: Assist with data entry and updates in the UKG HR Information System, managing employee records, ensuring data accuracy, and generating reports for HR decision-making. Handle confidential employee data responsibly.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Create monthly and quarterly reports for senior management. Develop visual dashboards and performance metrics using Power BI.
Audits & Compliance: Support HR data audits (employee records, compensation, benefits), ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Prepare audit documentation and track corrective actions.
Excel Data Management: Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas) for data analysis, report creation, and presentations based on HR data.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of HRIS systems (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

• Experience or coursework in Human Resources Management or Organizational Development.
• Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
