Job Description: Human Resources Intern

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in program coordination, event planning, and strategic communication within the HR department. The intern will play a key role in enhancing the internship experience for a diverse group of individuals.

Responsibilities:

Create and Maintain Process Documents: Maintain a central repository (e.g., SharePoint or Google Drive) for all program documents, including training guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), evaluation/feedback templates, and exit process documents. Ensure all policies, guidelines, and expectations are clear, up-to-date, and include information about company culture, DEI initiatives, and professional development opportunities.

Intern Coordination and Support: Maintain a master calendar for program milestones, manage intern contact information and project progress, track performance evaluations and feedback, and plan/organize various events such as orientation, professional development workshops, networking events, and final presentations. This includes arranging logistics for these events, whether in-person or virtual.

Onboarding Support: Prepare welcome kits and training materials, ensure technology access and workspace setups are ready, act as a point of contact for intern questions and concerns, send program updates/reminders, and assist with scheduling meetings between interns and their mentors/managers.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage projects with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Strong interest in early career and talent development programs.

Other Details:

The internship is expected to start hybrid around April 2025 and continue through August 2025.
The position is located in the Atlanta, GA area and is a hybrid role.
A minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, onsite work is required for most internships.
