Human Resources Intern | JD.COM
The Tone:
This is a 6-month, full-time internship at JD.com, located in Buford, Georgia. JD.com, also known as JINGDONG, is a leading technology and supply chain ecosystem that started in China and has expanded globally, serving over 700 million customers across various sectors including retail, logistics, tech, and property. This role offers hands-on experience in full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment, supporting a large employee base and contributing to the company’s global expansion. As part of the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, this position provides meaningful responsibilities designed to foster early-career talent and integrate fresh ideas into the business.

• Pay: $20–$25 hourly
• Team: Shadowing the HR lead as mentor and support, providing primary HR support for 2–3 warehouses.
• Mission: Provide hands-on support for full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment, ensuring accurate processes and compliance across multiple California sites.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
What You’ll Actually Do
• HR Support: Act as the primary HR support for 2–3 warehouses located in one of our California sites.
• Process Management: Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment administration, onboarding, and documentation for performance management and offboarding.
• Timecard Review: Review and reconcile employee timecards, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and related compliance matters.
• Employee Relations: Support the handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership.
• Policy Guidance: Provide initial HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and basic compliance with federal and state regulations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years required, but a proactive approach to learning and task completion is essential.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills; detail-oriented; comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn new systems such as HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems.
• Bonus: Chinese Mandarin speaking is a plus; open to OPT candidates.
