Job Description: Human Resources Intern

This role is for a Human Resources Intern at First Student, specifically focusing on the Compensation discipline as a shared service partner.

The intern will gain hands-on compensation experience by collaborating closely with the Compensation Manager and Sr. Director on various projects, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the day-to-day responsibilities of the compensation team to support internal clients effectively.
Coordinating organizational charts and general reporting tasks, such as wage, bonus, and performance management data.
Supporting the management of the Compensation team’s email inbox and handling incoming requests.
Conducting basic wage analysis specifically for Drivers and Technicians/Mechanics.
Assisting members of the Compensation department with various special projects as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
Actively pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Analytics, or Economics.
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Possessing the ability to work independently.
