About the Internship Program
Our comprehensive internship program is meticulously designed to immerse college students in the operations of Post Holdings, providing invaluable, hands-on entry-level work experience within a professional corporate environment. Our overarching goal is to cultivate a clear roadmap for interns, guiding them towards a long-term, rewarding, and challenging career within our organization.
As part of the internship curriculum, participants will have unique opportunities to interact with various branches and departments across the company, gaining a holistic understanding of our business model. We are committed to working individually with each intern to identify their desired career path and outline the strategic steps necessary to achieve their professional aspirations. The program culminates with each intern delivering a concise presentation to their mentors, summarizing their key accomplishments and takeaways from their time at Post Holdings.
The HRIS Intern Role
The HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) team at Post Holdings is central to implementing, maintaining, and providing critical support for the Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) utilized across all our businesses and by our valued employees. As an HRIS Intern, you will be an integral part of this team, engaging in a range of impactful activities designed to provide a robust learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively learn and understand the intricacies of the HRMS platforms that underpin the Post Holdings business model.
- Lead 1-2 impactful technical projects from initial conceptualization through to successful implementation, contributing directly to business improvements.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular, clear status updates to the Project Manager and wider team members.
- Actively participate in technical assessments, reviews, and provide essential technical services to support other team members’ projects.
- Offer front-line technical support for various HRIS platforms managed by the HRIS Team, ensuring smooth operations.
- Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations for continuous improvement activities and the adoption of new technologies within the HRIS landscape.

Qualifications
General Qualifications:
- Must be actively pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited university.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field of study.
- Possess strong mathematical skills.
- Highly desirable to have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a dynamic, occasionally fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Technical Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Windows 10 / 11 Operating System at an advanced user or administrator level.
- Knowledge of fundamental Cloud concepts, including SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Hybrid Cloud, and Public Cloud.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security concepts and the principle of least privilege access.
- Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, is a significant plus.
- Any prior training or coursework involving programming and writing SQL (Structured Query Language) is a plus.
- Completion of courses or syllabi associated with or involving “Logic” is a plus, indicating strong problem-solving abilities.
Work Location
This is a hybrid role based in St. Louis, Missouri. The work schedule requires in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work remotely from home on Mondays and Fridays.
