Job Title: HR Intern
Location: Ring Container Technologies, Oakland, TN
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager
Job Type: Internship

Job Purpose: The HR Intern is responsible for supporting the HR Function including all HR programs and policies, coordinating transactions in Workday, assisting with onboarding of new employees, supporting staff, and performing other general HR duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support onboarding activities for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.
• Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and training sessions.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Assist with the coordination of company events and activities.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
• Previous internship or work experience in HR is a plus but not required.
