Description: HR Intern (Summer 2025)
This 11-week summer internship (June 2nd – August 15th) offers a blend of practical experience and professional development. Interns will primarily focus on their assigned area within the HR department, contributing to various projects. The program includes weekly informational sessions (“IKE Sessions”) with senior leadership, skills workshops, informal networking events (“Coffee Chats”), and a “Coffee with the CEO” opportunity. The internship culminates in final projects and presentations.
Specific responsibilities for the HR Intern may include:
• Engagement: Learning about and contributing to employee engagement strategies across the Club Support Center, clubs, and distribution centers.
• HR Analytics: Participating in analytical projects to enhance HR data visibility and reporting.
• HR Policy: Assisting in the review and revision of HR policies, best practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Currently pursuings:
• Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program. Preferred majors include HR, Communications, Psychology, or Business Analytics.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Marlborough, MA (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
Compensation: The starting pay for this internship is $20.00 per hour. BJ’s Wholesale Club notes that the actual salary may vary based on several factors, including location, education, experience, and qualifications.
