HR Business Partner – EMEA | Milliman
The Tone:
This is a remote role at Milliman, requiring occasional attendance at the Dublin office. Milliman delivers market-leading services and solutions to clients worldwide, addressing critical issues in retirement funding, healthcare financing, risk management, and business transformation. This role is crucial for strengthening the company’s culture by partnering with various practices to develop strategies that enhance retention, manage performance effectively, and cultivate a high level of employee engagement. You will provide both strategic and operational HR support to meet business needs across EMEA.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Partner: Build strong business partner relationships with executives, management, and teams, understanding their business goals and challenges to develop effective solutions.
• Advise: Provide guidance and support to management teams on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
• Analyze: Conduct exit interviews, review turnover data, and analyze engagement results to identify HR trends and develop consistent people solutions, programs, and policies.
• Resolve: Coach managers on employee relations, support Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and terminations, and conduct investigations into complex employee relations issues.
• Lead: Drive key HR team projects, manage project efforts and resources, and identify opportunities for process improvement initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 10 years resolving complex employee relations issues and working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues, previous experience with organizational design, and experience working in a matrix environment, preferably within consulting or professional services.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, a professional and consultative approach with the ability to influence decisions, build alignment, and drive outcomes, and essential European language skills in at least two of the following: Dutch, German, Italian.
• Bonus: CIPD or SHRM certification or similar.
