• Team: Works as part of the Housekeeping team, reporting to a Floor Supervisor.
• Mission: Ensures guest satisfaction and contributes to repeat business by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest room presentation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Room Cleanliness: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of assigned guest areas, ensuring they meet the hotel’s high standards.
• Linen and Towel Service: Change and inspect linens and towels daily, adhering to the Green Program’s standards for environmental care.
• Supply Management: Keep the work cart orderly and properly stocked, utilizing equipment, supplies, and guest amenities responsibly.
• Safety and Hazard Reporting: Identify and report safety hazards such as broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, and suspicious persons encountered during duties.
• Guest Engagement: Interact with guests to ensure their stay is positive, demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior at all times.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suitable for individuals aiming for a rewarding career in hospitality housekeeping, with potential for advancement to supervisory or management roles such as Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is desirable for this position.
• Skills:
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the thorough cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within daily schedules.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage courteously with guests and team members.
• Physical capability to perform duties, including standing for extended periods, moving to clean various areas, operating cleaning equipment, navigating carts up to 100 lbs, and lifting loads of at least 25 lbs.
• Ability to accurately read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Bonus: A neat and pleasant personal presentation.
