Job Title:
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
Location: Columbus, OH
About the Role:
This internship is designed to support all departments and report to Management. You will gain valuable experience in the Hospitality Management industry, specifically in the sports and entertainment sector. This role offers exposure to various operational departments including Premium, Concessions, Warehouse, and Culinary, with potential opportunities to work with finance, HR, and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acquire skills and knowledge across all operational departments.
• Understand positions and job duties within multiple teams.
• Assist in coordinating staffing levels.
• Understand opening and closing procedures, including:
• Menu development and pricing
• Ordering and inventory processes
• Assessing staffing level drivers
• Catering sales processes
• Suite ordering processes
• Required event documentation and reporting
Ideal Candidate:
• Current undergraduate student enrolled in the OSU Hospitality Management program or a similar hospitality degree program.
• Seeking to fulfill required internship credits.
Note: This internship is best suited for students pursuing a Hospitality Management degree and seeking relevant work experience.
