High School Internship – Summer 2025
This is a part-time (20 hours/week) internship program that will run for 5 weeks (June 16th, 2025 – July 18th, 2025).
Location: Hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of the Costa Mesa, CA, Cerritos, CA or Woodland Hills, CA Elevance Health PulsePoint office.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Account Management team with project work and competitive analysis
• Interacting with Account Executives, Account Managers, and Sales-related departments
• Contributing towards the improvement of the sales workflow process
• Researching and organizing documents and communication deliverables
Minimum Requirements:
• Enrolled in high school (Junior/Senior) or a program of study within the LAUSD school system
• Must be 18 years or older by the start of the internship
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship (June 16th, 2025 – July 18th, 2025)
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
• Exceptional Problem-solving and Organizational skills
• Experienced/Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (specifically Excel and Access)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Employ a self-motivated, organized, and team-player mindset
• Familiarity with the utilization of Social Media in a professional setting
Internship Goals:
During this internship, the selected candidate will gain experience within a professional sales environment and will gain the opportunity to learn about and understand the world-class products and services Elevance Health delivers.
Compensation:
For candidates working in person or remotely in California, the salary range for this position is $19.78 – $28.26 per hour.
