This role provides a high school student with hands-on learning opportunities in a structured office environment, offering valuable exposure to corporate business functions and professional workplace practices. The intern will significantly contribute to special projects within the Safety and Finance departments, developing crucial administrative, analytical, communication, and organizational skills essential for future career growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Assist Safety and Finance teams by contributing to special departmental projects and initiatives.
• Data Management: Organize, enter, and analyze data using spreadsheets and other business tools, gathering information to support business operations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and update various reports, tracking logs, and department records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Administrative Assistance: Perform essential administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, data entry, and document organization for efficiency and compliance.
• Communication & Learning: Support the preparation of training materials, presentations, and internal communications, and participate in team meetings to gain insights into business processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, currently enrolled in high school, with a strong interest in learning about business operations, finance, or workplace safety.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is required; the internship is designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities and students must demonstrate a willingness to learn and embrace new responsibilities.
• Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook, is necessary. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication abilities to collaborate within a team and independently.
