Job Description:

The intern will be joining the Celldex Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team. This team is responsible for:

• Managing value evidence generation strategy and planning
• Communicating and translating internal and external research to diverse value stakeholders (both internal and external).

The internship offers the opportunity to:

• Learn how industry research strategy evolves.
• Understand how HEOR data & Real-World Evidence (RWE) is actionable to diverse stakeholders.
• Assist in the collaborative process of organizing the value context for new products.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a landscape literature review on one or more indications of interest for Celldex compounds in development. This includes:
• Identifying unmet needs
• Understanding epidemiology
• Understanding the natural history of the disease
• Understanding the burden of illness
• Identifying comparator treatments
• Leverage published literature using clinical and scientific databases, primarily PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and Google Scholar.
• Organize references in an internal online library resource.
• Receive mentoring and guidance from the Head of HEOR.
• Prepare a written report of findings and present to a cross-functional audience at Celldex.
• Take part in HEOR, market access, and medical affairs cross-functional team meetings.
• Learn about the fundamentals of HEOR and market access and the value framework approach to support a new product indication.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in one of the following fields:
• Health Economics and Outcomes Research
• Health Services Research
• Epidemiology
• Pharmacy and Healthcare Administration
• Biostatistics
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Prior industry experience (preferred but not required).
• Passion for the biopharmaceutical industry and a desire to make an impact.

Compensation:

• The hourly range for this internship is $18.00 per hour.
