Head of Talent Acquisition – Americas | Nokia

The Tone:
This is a senior leadership role at Nokia, located across the Americas region. Nokia builds critical telecommunications, networking, cloud, and software infrastructure. This role is crucial for shaping recruitment strategy, cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of hiring plans across diverse talent segments to secure the talent necessary for Nokia’s continued growth and innovation.

• Team: Leads a team of 10-15 Talent Acquisition professionals across the Americas.
• Mission: Shapes recruitment strategy, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and ensures the successful delivery of hiring plans for high-volume and highly specialized talent.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team across the Americas region.
• Strategy Execution: Drive the successful delivery of recruitment strategies and hiring plans across multiple business functions and geographies.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with senior business leaders, HR teams, and workforce planning partners to understand talent requirements and build effective hiring solutions.
• Sourcing Innovation: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex, niche, and business-critical positions.
• Hiring Delivery: Ensure delivery against hiring targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality, diversity, compliance, and candidate experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Significant leadership experience in talent acquisition within a technology-focused environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated success in agency recruitment with proven ability to deliver difficult and hard-to-fill hiring projects, coupled with leadership experience managing or developing recruiters and team leads.
• Skills: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for specialist, niche, and highly competitive technical roles; strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and the broader talent ecosystem.
• Bonus: Experience recruiting within telecommunications, networking, cloud, infrastructure, software, or related technology sectors; experience supporting engineering organizations with highly specialized talent requirements; experience working within a large, global, matrixed organization.
