Hardware Engineering Intern:

Hardware Engineering interns play a crucial role in supporting the electrical & system design and integration of Apple’s iconic products, including the Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad, Watch, and Mac computers. You will be involved in engineering processes that support the design, integration, implementation, testing, and qualification of various electrical sub-systems.

Responsibilities may include:

Camera/Touch/Display Engineering: Designing and implementing experiments to validate new optical and mechanical materials. Optimizing performance and reliability of optics, flat panel hardware, and touch mechanical design.
Wireless Technologies: Designing antennas, validating RF systems, developing automated software and tools, optimizing RF automated systems, and conducting RF system analysis.
ASIC / VLSI: Engaging in RTL design and implementation, verification, integration, validation, emulation, power/technology & circuits, CAD, STA, physical design, low power design, signal integrity, analog/mixed signal, LDV/HDV, and DFT.
System Development: Designing and integrating electrical systems, supporting system-level testing, capturing schematics, and resolving bugs.
Audio/Acoustics/Optical Production Testing and Mechanical Test Design: Supporting the development of production testing and mechanical test designs.
Embedded Systems: Developing low-level microcontroller code, prototyping concepts, verifying designs using FPGAs, and streamlining electrical design.
Firmware Development: Writing and debugging low-level firmware, drivers, protocols, and other firmware code to develop embedded firmware solutions.
