Growth Operations Intern

Location: Bay Area, CA (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite)

Duration: 3-6 months internship (with possible extension)

The Role

We are looking for a Growth Operations Intern to help drive user growth and engagement for our AI platform. You will work at the intersection of growth, product, and operations, helping us attract new users, improve onboarding, and increase user retention through data-driven experiments and community engagement. This role is ideal for students interested in AI startups, growth strategy, developer platforms, or data-driven product growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Help design and execute user acquisition campaigns to attract new developers and AI teams.
  • Assist with user onboarding and activation programs, ensuring a smooth initial experience for new users.
  • Support user engagement and retention initiatives, including developing referral programs and organizing community activities.
  • Analyze growth metrics suchs as user acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Build simple reports or dashboards to track growth performance and communicate insights to the team.
  • Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to improve onboarding flows and the overall user experience.
  • Collect direct feedback from developers and identify actionable opportunities to enhance the platform.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science).
  • Strong interest in AI, startups, or developer platforms and a passion for technology.
  • Analytical mindset and a proven ability to work with data to derive insights.
  • Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, or basic analytics tools for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively cross-functionally with diverse teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with growth, marketing, or community operations in a previous internship or project.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) and an understanding of their applications.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools/languages.
  • Interest in AI infrastructure, GPUs, or cloud platforms and how they enable AI development.
