Growth Equity Portfolio Value Creation Analyst Internship: Summer 2027 | Susquehanna International Group

The Tone:
This is an internship at Susquehanna International Group (SIG), located in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), backed by SIG, is a leading growth equity firm investing in high-growth software, internet, and business services companies. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with high-growth technology, franchise, and services companies (with $5-100M+ in revenue) to accelerate their growth and increase efficiency. As an intern, you will gain valuable experience interacting directly with portfolio company leadership on critical strategic projects such as go-to-market, pricing, and AI initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Own and lead specific value-added projects with portfolio company executives, working alongside members of the value creation team.
• Strategy Development: Support the brainstorming process to identify the most impactful ways to drive meaningful equity value creation across the portfolio, including areas such as AI, payments, and pricing.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze portfolio company performance comprehensively to identify key risk areas and opportunities for improvement.
• Best Practice Formalization: Benchmark key capabilities and best practices across various portfolio companies, then formalize these into repeatable playbooks and toolkits for broader application.
• Community & Collaboration: Strengthen the Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) portfolio company community and collaborate with other members of the PVC and investment teams to evolve the function and impact of value creation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Intention to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within one year of the internship program. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in working with entrepreneurial, high-growth tech businesses.
• Experience: Requires demonstrated leadership experience. Experience using AI tools to their fullest ability, including platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Clay, Bolt, and Manus, is essential.
• Skills: Possess excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills, along with strong written and oral communication abilities and superb critical thinking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
• Bonus: Interest in consulting, strategy, operations, or other similar career paths is a plus. Candidates should have a genuine curiosity for learning new tools and topics as technology evolves, along with a collaborative and proactive approach, confidence, and the ability to take ownership. The ability to quickly build trusted relationships with SGE partners/MDs and portfolio company CxOs, and to thrive independently in autonomous environments, is also valued.
