About the Role
This is a Growth Consultant position within the AppDev team at Google Customer Solutions. You’ll be working with top App customers in the Americas to help them optimize their user acquisition strategy with Google Ads.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Science & Measurement Consulting: Deliver engagements on projects like pLTV, event selection, and incrementality.
• Data Analysis & Insights: Lead hypothesis-driven client analysis to surface actionable insights.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop GoogleSQL/Google Workspace Scripts/Python scripts for advanced reporting and ad tech automation.
• Client Collaboration: Advise Google clients and agencies on best practices for marketing analytics, providing ongoing consultation.
• Team & Sales Leadership: Upskill AppDev sales growth managers and partner with cross-functional teams to identify and execute new business opportunities.
• Influencing & Presenting: Present opportunities to leadership, securing buy-in and influencing decisions.
• Global Growth Project Management: Coordinate and execute scalable growth projects at regional and global levels.

About the Role’s Location
This role can be based in New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Playa Vista, CA.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in business or media analytics, consulting, digital media, marketing, financial analysis, or another quantitative field.
• Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other programming or scripting languages such as R, Python, or ad tech automation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience consulting businesses to influence strategic changes in their resource and budget allocations.
• Understanding of statistical modeling and quantitative analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning methodologies including data cleansing, normalization, feature engineering, model training/validation and automation.
• Ability to analyze large datasets with the goal of delivering actionable insights.
• Ability to speak with external stakeholders and agency clients at all levels in both technical and business discussions.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and investigative skills.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000 – $156,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
