Job Description: Graphic Designer
Job Summary: Tatcha seeks a talented Graphic Designer to join their Visual Merchandising and Store Design team in San Francisco (hybrid work model). Reporting to the International VM + Store Design Manager, the Graphic Designer will create 2D layouts and production-ready files for global in-store environments.
Responsibilities:
• Create initial graphic design layouts using assets from evergreen and launch photoshoots, demonstrating a strong understanding of graphic design principles to ensure timeless, clean, and legible designs.
• Develop multiple iterations of layouts for various countries based on the initial design.
• Collaborate with VM and store designers to adapt layouts to specific country or retailer needs.
• Present design options and layouts to the Creative Director and cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (international markets, international marketing, retail marketing, copy team, education, and sales) to determine the best layouts for in-store scenarios.
• Create production-ready files for all layout iterations for retailers, shop-in-shops, pop-ups, events, and promotional spaces.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and in-store environment discussions, working with the creative team to maintain a cohesive brand message.
• Translate the brand’s visual identity into in-store graphic touchpoints across all units and signage.
• Assist with additional projects as directed by the manager.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design for in-store and/or out-of-home (OOH) campaigns.
• Familiarity with in-store graphics and layouts.
• Experience creating and releasing production-ready files to vendors and managing printing technologies.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Exceptional typography skills.
• SketchUp knowledge is a plus.
• Beauty or retail experience (skincare and/or prestige beauty experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google platforms.
• Experience with Wrike or a similar project management platform is a plus.
• Flexibility with work hours to accommodate project needs and online meetings across different time zones.
• Must be based in San Francisco.
Additional Information:
The salary range is $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience and other factors. A discretionary bonus plan is available. Tatcha offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and more.
