Graphic Design Internship Program
Munchkin’s Graphic Design Internship Program offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to a career within the dynamic consumer products industry. This role is crucial for creating and producing a wide range of graphic and digital design assets, from initial concept development through to final execution. Interns will actively participate in all facets of the creative process, fostering collaboration with team members and contributing to the development of executive-level presentation materials.
Program Details & Logistics
This semester internship program has a duration of 10-12 weeks, regardless of the chosen start/end option.
- Program Date Options:
- Option 1: Spring 2026
- Option 2: Summer 2026
- Option 3: Fall 2026
- Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage.
Internship Responsibilities
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will contribute by:
- Creating and producing graphic and digital design assets, overseeing projects from initial concept through final execution.
- Collaborating and developing ideas effectively within a team-based design environment.
- Designing and generating various visual assets for both digital and print media.
- Preparing assets and graphics for a diverse range of platforms and uses, including the marketing website, email campaigns, product packaging, print collateral, digital advertisements, and more.
- Performing other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Currently a full-time student at an accredited 4-year college/university.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA or better is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and thrive in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (work samples will be requested as part of the application).
- Must be able to work on-site in Van Nuys, CA.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship by Munchkin.
- A portfolio is required for consideration.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $20/hour
