About the Role
This part-time Graphic Design / Animation Intern or Volunteer role supports Flamingle Entertainment LLC’s startup operations. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and amending visuals for various platforms, including social media, websites, and short videos, working with minimal supervision and a flexible schedule.
What You’ll Do
• Conceptualize visuals based on specific meeting directions, with room for creative initiative
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for storyboard pre-animation or for graphics
• Develop a multitude of graphics, illustrations, logo variations, flyers, social media graphics, and website designs
• Use appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic per brand’s original design
• Design graphics across various social media platforms
• Amend designs after feedback
• Create and present on virtual meetings: the brand’s reels / short videos / trailers
• Complete short reel to summarize companies services and charitable examples
• Serve as a backup to execute posting or publishing of approved posts
• Work with the marketing teammate and team to update the simple the social media scheduler template
You’re a Good Fit If You
• Proven social media publishing / posting experience
• A strong portfolio of layout, social graphics, and illustrations or reels
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Ability to create short videos / reels / trailers
• Ability to edit videos
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign or Illustrator / Photoshop; Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva)
• Comfortable working with a few deadlines
Bonus Qualifications
• Some experience with UX/UI design
• Familiarity with Figma
• Some experience with WordPress
• Some experience with post-production of film
• Preferably some experience with 2D / 3D / 4D software
