Job Description: Graduate Software Development Internship

Start Date: Early July 2025
Duration: 1 year
Location: Feltham, United Kingdom (Hybrid work approach, working from the Bedfont Lakes office 1-2 days per week.)

What you’ll do:

• Receive coaching and mentorship from world-class leaders.
• Join a team of new graduates starting their careers together.
• Engage in professional development while meeting the demands of projects and programs.
• Be immersed in the Agile Software Development process within a high-caliber software development team.
• Perform a variety of tasks, including:
Requirements collection
UI Design
Solution design and evaluation
Implementation (writing code)
Unit and QA testing
Deployment
Root cause analysis and fixing of defects

The internship program provides tailored learning experiences based on individual needs. Early tasks are chosen to support skill development, and responsibilities increase as you progress, ultimately becoming a full team member responsible for delivering high-quality software.

Team:

The Collaboration Tools & Experience team focuses on providing automation for operational tasks within the collaboration space. This includes:

• Managing infrastructure for tools like CallManagers and Expressways.
• Auditing all Webex bots within Cisco.
• Creating products to enhance the employee experience in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements:

This role might be ideal for you if you:

• Are a penultimate-year student studying for a degree primarily focused on maths, information technology, or scientific study.
• Possess strong teamwork skills.
• Enjoy problem-solving.
• Are curious about how things work and have ideas for improvement.
• Are a good communicator both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable sharing your ideas.
• Have a demonstrable interest in technology and programming.
• Are eager to learn new things and invest time in developing your skills.

Existing software development knowledge and experience are a definite advantage but are not essential.
