Job Description (Faith-Based Global Service Internship)

Job Title: Graduate Internship
Location: Falkirk, Scotland (on-site project work)
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: Unpaid internship. Optional housing available at £100/week on a first-come, first-served basis.
Purpose: To provide practical experience in global missions, community service, and international development for recent graduates.
Values: Program is rooted in Christian values and includes faith-based activities. Graduates from all backgrounds and beliefs are encouraged to apply.

Structure:
Part 1: On-site project work at SJRC in Falkirk, Scotland.
Part 2 (optional): Overseas service placement with partner organisations.

Start Dates:
• September 1, 2025
• January 1, 2026
• March 1, 2026
• June 1, 2026

Internship Elements:
Project Design: Interns work as a team on projects with defined goals, tasks, and outcomes. Examples include curriculum design, community development models, and awareness campaigns.
Mentorship: Provides one-on-one guidance from experienced mentors to support professional and personal growth.
Personal Development: Includes structured spiritual formation, reflection activities, and journaling to encourage critical analysis of experiences, solidify learning, enhance self-awareness, and promote personal growth.
Group Collaboration: Facilitates discussions and peer learning to share challenges, successes, and insights.
Community Engagement: Offers opportunities to contribute to local service initiatives, cultural exchange events, and other outreach activities.
Study & Learning: Provides access to online and live courses in areas such as community strengthening, orphan care, and anti-human trafficking.
Post-Internship Support: Offers optional career guidance, resources, and mentorship.
