About The Program: Winter 2026 Graduate Internship Program

This program offers graduate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the IDB Group.

Key Program Details:

Location: Washington, D.C.
Modality: In Person
Contract Type: Paid Intern Consultant
Duration: 2 months, from January 16, 2026, to March 15, 2026.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Who Can Apply (Eligibility Requirements):

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of an IDB member country. (Note: IDB Invest roles have no nationality restrictions).
• Be an active graduate student currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program.
• Have completed at least 50% of your coursework at the time of application.
• Have a graduation date after the internship period.
Not have previously worked at the IDB Group under any contractual modality.
Meet work authorization requirements:
• For U.S.-based international students, CPT/OPT may apply.
• For students based outside the U.S., the IDB Group will support your request for a G4 visa.
