Grad Intern, Corporate Business Development – Fall 2026 | Legendary Entertainment
The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Legendary Entertainment, located in Burbank, CA. Legendary Entertainment is a leading media company with divisions in film, television and digital, and comics, dedicated to owning, producing, and delivering content to worldwide audiences. This internship provides hands-on experience within the entertainment industry by focusing on evaluating new business opportunities, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions, while supporting the Corporate Business Development team. • Mission: To assist the Corporate Business Development team in evaluating new business opportunities, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions for the company.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Projects: Work closely with the EVP, Operations & Corporate Business Development on strategic projects.
• Analysis: Perform research and analysis to address current competitive and financial markets, as well as potential new business concepts/models.
• Modeling: Develop detailed financial models for potential transactions, performing due diligence, preparing presentations for senior management, and coordinating with senior executives to support and execute transactions.
• Exposure: Participate in special projects to gain additional exposure outside of the immediate department.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled in a Masters/MBA program at a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six months.
• Experience: Possess an understanding of financial principles/techniques of financial analysis, along with a basic understanding of accounting rules and financial statements.
• Skills: Ability to draw well-integrated conclusions from insights and analyses, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred.
