GPC Power Delivery High School Temporary 2026 Summer Internship

This is an external candidate description for a High School Temporary Summer Internship with GPC Power Delivery in 2026.

Job Description

The Intern position is an entry-level, physically demanding role that requires manual labor. Interns will be working with Georgia Power Delivery & Shared Services covered work crews. The ideal candidate will thrive in a physically demanding work environment and be able to work in all types of weather conditions.

Candidates must currently live within a reasonable, daily commuting distance to the operating headquarters.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must always demonstrate the ability and desire to work safely and display ethical behavior.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Shift: Day shift.

Requirements For Employment As An Intern

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or turning 18 by September 1, 2026.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Available to work Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay is $18.00 per hour. This internship offers the opportunity for future employment if the candidate is successful and positions become available.
