GPC Power Delivery High School Temporary 2026 Summer Internship

Georgia Power is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for a temporary summer internship in 2026. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on experience in the power delivery sector, working with Georgia Power Delivery & Shared Services covered work crews.

Role and Responsibilities

This internship is a physically demanding position that requires manual labor. Interns will be actively involved with Georgia Power Delivery & Shared Services work crews, gaining practical experience in power delivery operations. The ability to work diligently in a challenging physical environment and adapt to various weather conditions is highly desired.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must always demonstrate the ability and desire to work safely and display ethical behavior.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Requirements For Employment As An Intern

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or turning 18 by September 1, 2026.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Available to work Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Compensation & Future Opportunities

  • Starting pay: $18.00 per hour.
  • Opportunity for future employment if the candidate is successful and positions are available.
