Job Description: Global UX/UI Intern
Job Summary:
The Global UX/UI Intern will collaborate with a cross-functional team to define user experiences across digital touchpoints and enhance customer engagement. The intern will gain experience in UX/UI design, utilizing the Global Design System to create intuitive and functional user interfaces for web and app pages.
Major Responsibilities:
• Solves visual and interaction design problems using user-centered methods.
• Leverages the Global Design System to create desired experiences.
• Designs and implements UX/UI solutions based on business requirements.
• Supports documentation and archiving.
• Participates in user research and user testing.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned. A portfolio of work examples is required (web address preferred).
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution.
• Sophomore standing or above.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Transcript required upon application.
• Preferred majors: Graphic Design, Human Centered Interaction, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or similar.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar design prototyping tools.
Additional Information:
• This is an in-person internship based in Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently enrolled at an accredited university and have a graduation date after December 2025.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation. Housing financial assistance may be available.
