Job Description: Global Supply Chain Intern
As a Global Supply Chain Intern, you’ll get a chance to explore various aspects of supply chain management, including:
• Global Logistics: Understand the complexities of international shipment and distribution.
• Global Supply Chain Strategy: Learn how to develop and implement strategies for optimizing the supply chain.
• Global Life Cycle Management: Gain insights into managing the entire lifecycle of products, from development to retirement.
• US Affiliate Supply Chain: See how the supply chain operates within the US.
• Global Center of Excellence: Learn about the central hub for supply chain expertise and best practices.
• Global Supply Chain Manufacturing: Gain exposure to the manufacturing processes involved in producing animal health products.
Responsibilities:
• Complete assigned tasks, projects, and deliverables with high engagement and attention to detail.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues, fellow interns, and other Elanco employees.
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor and leadership, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Expand your knowledge of Elanco’s growing role in the animal health industry.
Qualifications:
• Minimum: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program in Supply Chain, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, other engineering majors, or an MBA.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Preferred: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proven self-motivation, high level of responsibility, and professionalism. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Internship Program Details:
• Duration: May 19th – August 8th (12 Weeks)
• Location: Global Elanco Headquarters – Indianapolis, IN – Hybrid Work Environment
• Compensation: Competitive salary of $20-$40/hour (depending on major and year in school).
• Benefits: Networking events, assigned mentors, professional development opportunities, optional all-inclusive housing for $150/week or a $4000 housing stipend (only for Sales and Kansas City/Elwood interns).
• Post-Internship Opportunities: Full-time roles or additional internships are possible for outstanding performers.
