Global Quantitative Summer Analyst Program
The Global Quantitative Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship that serves as a stepping stone to the Global Quantitative Analytics Development Program. This internship is designed to nurture and coach analytical and quantitative talent, preparing them for roles within various Bank of America business groups.
What You’ll Do:
As a Global Quantitative Summer Analyst, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of risk management at Bank of America. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals on your assigned team, applying your quantitative skills to real-world financial challenges. Your responsibilities may include:
• Developing Emerging Risk Assessments: Analyze and assess emerging risks, contributing to the development of strategic risk management frameworks.
• Quantitative Modeling: Build and refine models for forecasting, pricing, and stress testing financial scenarios.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to provide both micro and macro views of risk management across the bank.
• Market Trend Analysis: Analyze market trends and provide quantitative insights to inform internal decision-making and client interactions.
• Problem Solving: Leverage your quantitative knowledge to solve complex financial challenges and contribute to projects specific to your team.
• Implementation & Solutions: Develop and implement solutions using a blend of qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Networking: Cultivate meaningful relationships with risk executives and stakeholders across various lines of business.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Graduation timeframe between November 2025 and August 2026.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred.
• Common areas of study include Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics & Econometrics, and other STEM majors.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, drive for excellence, and commitment to sustainable results.
• Strong academic and technical skills, including proficiencies in leadership, teamwork, problem solving, analytical skills, verbal and written communication, and professionalism.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, SQL, R, and/or C++.
• For master’s candidates, no more than 2 years of work experience.
