Global Operations Accelerated Military Development Program | Bank of America

The Tone:
This is a full-time accelerated development program at Bank of America, located in Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, and Dallas, TX. Bank of America is one of the world’s leading financial institutions. This program allows military veterans to explore new career opportunities in the financial services industry. Participants will work on cutting-edge problems and help develop innovative solutions in all aspects of client coverage and deal execution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordination: Coordinate the activities of team members and clients with minimal supervision, taking on new responsibilities as they arise.
• Relationship Building: Build relationships and facilitate the flow of information across a wide array of products and businesses.
• Research and Reporting: Conduct industry and product research, maintain databases, and/or write comprehensive reports.
• Material Preparation: Prepare pitch books, live deal materials, and provide economic and market updates.
• Financial Analysis: Perform complex financial modeling and valuation work, including discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable company analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: BS/BA degree with outstanding academic qualifications, required at the time of application. Career level is geared towards accelerated development for military professionals.
• Experience: Served honorably as a Junior Military Officer, Warrant Officer, or NCO in the U.S. Military within the past 5 years and/or currently serving in the Reserves or National Guard.
• Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Distinguished verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex material simply. Strong interpersonal skills with an interest in working directly with clients.
