Global Logistics Intern | AIT Worldwide Logistics
The Tone:
This is an internship at AIT Worldwide Logistics, located in various global locations. AIT is a global freight forwarder that helps companies grow by expanding their access to markets all over the world, facilitating the selling and procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role offers a high-level overview of station operations through a rotational program, providing hands-on experience in operational departments. It’s an opportunity to learn about logistics, one of the most important industries globally, while actively contributing to supply chain optimization and customer satisfaction.
The TL;DR

• Pay: $20.60–$29.00 hourly
• Mission: Gain practical experience and formal training to help manage and optimize the supply chain within a global logistics framework.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Experience: Gain practical experience by working alongside seasoned team members, learning how to manage and optimize the supply chain within diverse operational departments.
• Training: Attend formal instructor-led training sessions led by industry experts to learn about AIT products, regulations, processes, and systems, gaining exposure to senior leaders and the supply chain firsthand.
• Certification: Successfully complete the AIT Evolve Certificate program in either Air or Ocean operations, enhancing your specialized knowledge in logistics.
• Data Management: Perform essential data entry activities, database management operations, and maintain comprehensive client files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Service: Convey and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times while providing extraordinary external and internal customer service, contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate or student graduating within 12 months with a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field.
• Experience: Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong planning and problem-solving abilities, analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Bonus: Bilingual in additional languages, a team player with a strong work ethic, a growth mindset, and a customer service focus.
